Pohangina Notes.
A general meeting of the Pohangina Cricket Club will be held in the Public Hall on Thursday 19fch inst., at 8 p.m. As the business to be considered is very important, all members should make an effort to be present. Probably a meeting of the football Club will be held after the cricket meeting. There is to be a concert and dance here on Friday 24 April, the proceeds of which will be devoted to fencing the hall section. Tenders for the right to supply refreshments at this concert and dance close with the hon. secretary of the hall on Thursday, 19th inst., at noon. Owing to our hall being in the hands of the contractor for lining, etc., the services next Sunday will be held in the school by kind permission of the committee. Wesleyan service at 3 p.m. Army at 7.30 p.m.— Standard.
