The Stock Market.

(Per Press Association.) Johnson ville, March 11. Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co.'s Johnsonville report : — The bulk of the cattle entered for sale were small, with the exception of one line of prime bullocks. Prices were easier than those ruling lass Bale. Sheep were poor to medium. No prime lots were penned. Pigs sold at last sale's rates. Cattle — Best bullocks from £5 4s to £8 ; others £5 5s to £6 ss, equal to 15s 6d the lOOlbs. Sheep— Small wethers, 7s 6d to 8s 6d ; ewes, 5s 6d to 78 7d ; lambs, 5s to 5s 7d. Pigs — Baconers, 20s to 30s ; porkers, 17s to 20s ; small sorts, 11s to 17s. Messrs Freeman B. Jackson and Co. report that they had large, entries both at Waverley and Wanganui, and prices were decidedly brisker in both places. Settlers are all crying out for rain, and should we have a good shower or two, prices will be better. Cattle— At Waverley : Bullocks, £3 ; fat cows £S to £3 12s 6d ; yearlings, 25s to 38s ; weaners, 225. At Wanganui : Bullocks, £4 5s to £4 10s ; steers, £2 17s : fat cows, £3 Is ; milch cows, £4 lls ; heifers, £2 2s 6d to £2 7s ; yearlings, 28s to 355. Sheep — At Waverley : Fat ewes, 5s 7d to 6s lOd: wethers, 6s lOd to 8s 4d ; maiden ewes and wethers, 7s 6d ; lambs 2s to 3s lid ; breeding ewes, 3s 6d to 7s 8d ; culls, Is 8d ; old rams, os 2d to 30s. At Wanganui : Breeding ewes, 3s lid to 6s Id ; culls, Is 8d to 3s 9d ; fat ewes, 6s ; lambs, 2s 9d to 4s ; old rams, 4s to Bs. Pigs : Light baconers, 295 ; large pork, ers, 16s to 20s ; smaller, 12s to 15s ; small pigs, 2s 5d to 4s 9d.
