The Waini Gold Mine.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, Feb. 14. The Waibj Company, owing to an exceptionally dry spason, has only 73 stampers w<Qrkjmgout of QOafc the battery, otherwise the return would have been still larger. For the period between January 3rd and February Bth, 3,060 tons of ore were treated, yielding bullion valued at £11,140. In addition to this 2250 tons of tailings were treated, yielding another £2405. making tbe total return for tbe period, £18,545. The return is a very satisfactory one,
