Ram Fair at Palmerston.
The attendance at the Ram Fair yesterday was as large as on the previous day, but bidding was not nearly so brisk, and a number of lots passed in. Prices were not so good for Romneys this year as last, and breeders arc generally disappointed. It is evideni that the supply is out-running the demand, and curtailment of breeders is re quired to maintain fair prices. Mr R S. Abraham was the auctioneer yester day, and got through his work in at expeditious manner. Results :— Oe account of W. Haywood, 30 2-tootL Romney rams — all sold at £g each ; or account of G.
