Cricket News.
A meeting of the Committee of the Manawatu Cricket Union will be held in the Manchester Hotel on Saturday, Bth February, at 7 p.m. The business to be dealt with will include the question of sending a representative team to Wanganui, making arrangements for final Cup matches, a protest lodged by Pohangina against Birmingham, and a protest lodged by Sandon against Carnarvon. The Palmerston Club forfeited to Sandon on Saturday last. The most interesting match of the season will be played on Saturday next, between Birmingham aud Colyton, on the latter's ground. As neither side has suffered a defeat tbis season a keen contest may be expected. Following are the positions of the various Clubs in the Manawatu Union : Club Games Won Lost Dr'n P'ts
