(Per Press Association.) Sydney, January 21. On the petition of a large number of j its members, the League of Wheelmen j has removed the disqualification of Megson from the end of the present mouth. Mr Cook, Postmaster-General, considers New Zealand and South Australia made a good bargain over the Pacific cable, the former getting a direct cable, while the latter is relieved of the Port Darwin line. At the Champion Swimming Carnival on the x J arramatta, the only New Zealand competitor who gained a place was Allan, third in the diving championship of Australasia, won by Wylie, of Sydney with 84 yards.
