Mrß. Wishaw with a lot of men start next A, week at Mr Bryces where 100 acres *^ have been shut up for cocksfoot. An accident happened to Mr J. Win. delburn, carter, recently while crossing the Kiwitea at Curie's clearing with a load of wool. In coming down the hill the shatter could not hold thb load, the dray coming down fast, oue wheelstruck the corner post of the bridge, the load turned over and the shaf ter being on his back in the river was quickly drowned. The shaft was broken, Mr Windelburn being thrown clear, fortunately none of the other horses were much damaged. ' Our veteran, Mr S. Daw, has had another coach done up. Being roomy it is all one could desire to ride in and view our hilly country. To anyone in search of health, a trip to Rangiwahia would be beneficial.
