With improvement of affairs these negotiations have been renewed, and by the Hinemoa, which leaves for Auckland and Snares Island towards the end of the month, Mr Hales of the Public Works Department, and Captafo Allman, nautical adviser of tho Government will proceed to select a suitable site for a lighthouse, the cost to be borne by the Colonies interested. ■■ittm
