Wellington Land Board.

Transfer granted— W. J. Harris to P. Mcllroy, section 26, Block IV, Apiti, if completed in two months.. T. Grammer was allowed to transfer his interest in section 19, Block I, Umutoi, to his partner, T. McLaurin. Ihe forfeiture of section 22, Block XVI, Marton Association No. 1, was rescinded as rent had been paid, bnt the Board decided to allow J. Harris to transfer his interest. It was decided to forfeit J. Fouby'« interest in section 12, Block HI, Hautapu, as he held other land. The arrears in the Momohaki settle* ment were considered, and it was de-' cided to inform the settlers that if the rents were not paid up at ne^t meeting of the Board the sections, would he forfeited. The cancellation of section 6, Block XI, Marton Association No. 1, was rescinded, as the rent has been paid. It was decided to offer 248 sections forfeited in special settlements for sale in March next. After considering the Makuri valuations the Board decided to make the following reductions :— T. Wilson, to 21s per acre; Willoughby Bros, 16s; R. H. Wilson, ie^ ; W. Freeman, 21s. The fo'.lor.'i'ng surrenders were accepted, providing the leases are sent in * — R. C. Wilson, W. J. Moore, E. E.
