Feilding Borough Council.
INSTALLATION OF THE MAYOR. A special meetiq^ of the Feilding Borough Council was held at noon to(Jay for the purpose of installing the MayQF-plegt Cr Walter A. Jj. Bailey in the Mayoral chair for the ensuing year. Present — The retiring Mayor (Mr W. A, Sandilands), Crs J. Gould, G. W. Fowlea G. H. Saywell, H. Worsfold, E. Goodbehere, W. G. Shearer and several ratepayers. Tne outgoing Mayor was complimented on his work during his term of office and the newly-elected Mayor, after the installation, was congratulaed on his election to the position.
