CPer Press Association ) Sydney. Dec. 12. In the conspiracy cases Judge Cohen refused to withdraw the cases of any of the accused from the jury. Crick, in hta examination, totally denied Norton's statements with regard to the conversations with Meagher, especially where the alleged reference of his being sent up was made. He again strongly denied that he knew anything of Dean's guilt till he heard Meagher 's confession. In crossexamination he admitted that when the dissolution of partnership between him and Meagher was agreed upon two sets of bills were drawn up, covering the balance unpaid of partnership accounts. One was endorsed by a well known country firm, and the other was not endorsed. It was, he aaid, agreed that in the event of an ything happening to himself the endorsed bill should be torn up.
