At the Dean conspiracy trail, there ~ were farther lenghty argument* on the guMtton of admitting the speeches of Sir eU. and those of Crick and Meagher in the Legislative Assembly as evidence. Hit Honor decided to admit the evidence, and said if rejected it would not be possible to appeal. By admitting the evidence it gav»the accused power to appeal to the Full Cow*, which he considered was a proper tribunal to deal with tht matter.
