The S.B. Forfarshire Strikes a Bock.

[Per Press Association.! Oauaktt, Dec 8. The steamer Forfarshire arrived off Oamaruon Saturday night, but owing to the darkness and thick fog was not brought in. She cruised about, and about midnight struck on a rock two miles south of the harbour. She was got off after pumping out her water ballast aud jettisoning fifty tons of coal. She is not much damaged, and is making no water, and is anchored in the toad-stead. She is to be sent on to Lyttelton for docking, but it was too tough to communicate with hex this evening. mmm^ mmm _— _
