Selling Stock by Auction.
(Per Presa Association) Sydney, December 6. A meeting of graziers and stock agents resolved, after January Ist, to sell cattle only on condition that after the fail of the hammer they accept no responsibility with regard to diseased animals. Com* . plaints bave been made that when vend- d ors took delivery of tha cattle they did so with ail risks, whereas buying butchers demanded refunds for cattle found to be diseased. Vendors had to refund large sums, and . they ! considered butchers should take the same risks as they did.
