PRICES REMAIN FIRM. 1 Per Press Association! London, December 3. Prices at the wool sales remain firm.

(Per Press Association.) Napier, December 4. At the opening of the wool sales today paices generally ruled twenty per cent higher than the opening sales last season. A large catalogue was submitted, s Strong lustrous wools of good quality were eagerly sought after, and fine wools were also in demand. One considerable clip brought 9£d per lb and others up to 9d per fleece. Wool, half breds of good quality realised up to B£d per lb, dumpy and weak from 6£d to 7sd ; good strong pieces, well picked, I 6|d, and crossbred bellies 6d. j
