The Midland Railway.
(Per Prw4Aßßociation.) , Wellington, Dec 3. Evidence at the Arbitration Court today whs devoted to the question of mining reserves, and will be for some time. Some of the same witness will be ' recalled to give evidence as to timber. This course is being adopted in order to set the issues in a clearer light. The general opinion is there is not the slightest chance of the case being finished by ' Christmas, but that the end of January is more probable.
