Supposed Attempt to Murder.
(P|!B Peess Association,) Wellington, Pecember 3. /Segdare Perotti, an Italian fisherman, was arrested this afternoon on the charge of attempting to murder another fisherman named Russo Ouatono. The latter alleges the accused enticed him and! a friend to a house and that when inside Perotti shut and locked the door and rushed at Russo with a knife, striking him on the breast. Russo and the friend overpowered and disarmed Perotti; f A grievance against Russo is said to be the cause. ■ l ';' . ';" • J'^y^'i.
