Messrs Wollerman and Co.

Messrs Wollerman and Co., wine, spirit, and general merchants, Palmerston North, have just received a new stock specially selected by Mr Wollerman when touring on the continent last year. The stock is imported direct, and the firm offer it at specially low prices. The wine and spirit department is complete, including rare old port from the best-known Spanish vineyards, Amontillado sherry, clarets of the finest quality, and Gilbey's invalid port. In addition to these the firm have in stock the best brands of Australian wines, hock, the good old Khjne wine, so dear to the hearts of tbe wanderers from the Fatherland ; champagnes and Liqueurs of all kinds. The firm are solo agents for several whiskies, including Doctor's special Highland cream whisky, Tuckey'a blend, Old Howard's three star, and Donald's fine Scotch. For their lager beers, specially recommended for invalids, the firm holds the sole agencies. Amongst the liquors we noticed a small cask of cider made by Mr H. Bennett of Awahuri, which is atuexcellent sample. The firm intend to keep it in stock next geason. In the ample storeroom the firm show a large nnmber of hams and baoon cured by Sir Retemeyer, whjch are sold at wholesale pripeg. The musical instruments including pianos made by P. Scharff, and for which the firm are the sole agents, are meeting with » ready sate, and a large stock is sow on its way out. The firm have been entrusted with the sole agency for Odams' manures and sheep dip, which have been used on the Royal farms in England for over 40 years with the greatest success. Since the firm have re commenced business they have met with great encouragement.
