The Wool Market.
The N.Z.L. and M.A. Company report under date, London, 27 th November: — Wool — The sales opened scarcely at the level of last sales. Faulty has declined %d per lb. Attendance of both Home and Foreign buyers is good. Competition by both Home and foreign buyers is fairly active.. The total quantity available including wool held over from last series is 190,000 bales, 20,000 bales of which have been forwarded to the manufacturing districts! direct. j The New Zealand wools included in these sales are almost entirely scoured, and fellmongers' lots, and therefore no guide as to values for present season's clips, first of which cannot be offered till January-February sales in London.
