A Drunken Affray.

(Per Press Association) Auckland. Nov. 26. Kanaka Mateloe, a seaman of the Linda Weber, died of his injuries at the hospital to-day. At the inquest held, and from the evidence taken, it seemed to show that the affray arose ont of a drunken quarrel among the seamen. j The inquest was adjonrned for a week for further evidence. Four seaman were arrested this evening from the vessels in port— Chas. Davidson, John Simmons, Antonio Santos, and Niglus Smymire, on the charge of the murder of Mateloe.
