Wellington Amateur Athletic Sports.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, November 23. The Amateur Athletic Club sports, were held this afternoon. The 100 yds Handicap resulted- A. M. Stuart, syds. 1 ; F. Galloway, syds, 2 ; A. J. Abbott, Byds, 3. Time 10 3-stb socs. F. H. Broome won the long jump, covering 19ft 7in, (including allowance of lft 6in.) The One Mile Walk was won by J. Perrett, 200 yds, in 6min 49 45-th sec. One Mile Flat Handicap— S. P. Hawthorne, 20yds, 1 ; C. H. Gordon, 100 yds, 2 ; C. W. Palmer, 30yds, 3. Time, 4min 44 2-sthsec. A. W. Bell, Manawatu A.A.C., scratch, finished fourth. W. C. Rhodes (Auckland), put the 161 bs weight 45ft. lin., and besides winning the event broke the Club's standard by one inch. F. B. Muir, 15yds, won the Half-mile Bicycle Handicap in lmin, 29 3-sth sees. A. H. Hnnt, 25yds, 2. Three Mile Flat Handicap resulted — S. P. Hawthorne 1, A. W. Bell 2, C. W. Palmer 3. Time, 16min 3 3 ssec, which beat the Club's standard time by 6 2-5 sec. W. Rarikin and F. C.
