Disastrous Fires.
(Per Press Association.) London, Nov. 22. Crompton'K electrical works at Chelmsford were destroyed by fire. The dam* age is estimated at £100,000. New York, Nov. 22. A fire in Chicago destroyed the premises of nineteen business firms. The damage is estimated at over one million dollars.
