Rifle Shooting.
W. BALLINGER PUTS UP A RECORD. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, This Day. At the competition of the Petone Rifle Club on Saturday W. H. Ballinger, the present champion, made a record score for New Zealand at 200, 500, and 600 yards of 100 points out of the possible 105. The totals were— 33, 33, and 34. He used Whitney's colonial ammunition of 1895.
