Trouble in West Africa.
MURDER OF A BRITISH OFFICER. (Per Press Association.) ] London, Nov. 21. Reports from Lagos, "West Africa, state that Captain Bowen, British resi- : dent at Yoroba, was killed, and the , King ordered his residence to be destroyed by fire. The outbreak in the inland native kingdom of Yowmba, on the West Coast of Africa, is of a serious character. The party under Captain Bower (who was i killed) afterwards shot a number of tbe leaders of tbe revolt. The Governor of Lagos is sending reinforcements to the scene of the disorder.
