(Per Press Association). SywEY, This Day. The conference on the Land and In* come Tax Bills has not concluded its proceedings. The discussion was ot a friendly and conciliatory character, and it is understood there are good prospects of a friendly compromise. Both Houses sat formally awaiting the result, and adjourned till to night, when they expect to be able to deal with the decisions of the conference.
