Feilding Bowling Green.
A well-attended meeting of members of the Feilding Bowling Clnb was held at the Feilding Hotel last evening. Present— Messrs W. A. Sandilands (in the chair), H.W.Davy (secretary), "W. A. L. Bailey, H. L. Sherwill, P. Thomson, F. Y. Lethbridge, G. Saywell, W. Hodren, H. Worsfold, W. G. Haybittle, J. McLaren, J. Campbell, H. Phelps, W. Dickson, J. Scott, J. C. Hill; W. Light, W. Snniiners, E. Goodbehere. The Secretary read a statement of the position of the Club, showing that their expenditure up to the present had been £296 19s 6d, or £7 Os Id in excess of their receipts, but between the previous meeting and last night an additional J£lo 10s had been paid up by members in response to the levy. The election of officers resulted as follows : President, Mr W. A. L. Bailey ; vice-president, Mr W. A. Sandilands ; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr H. W. Davy; committee, Messrs P. Thomson, Light, Haybittle, McLaren, Sherwill, Carthew, Goodbehere, J. C. Hill, C. Bray (senr.) It was resolved, on the motion of Mr Gosling, That any person paying his levy of £1 Is nnder the resolution to the effect passed at the last meeting of committee sballl be entitled, if he so desire it, to receive a debenture for the amonnt so paid by him. Mr Bailey thanked the meeting foe electing him president, and Mr Sandilands returned thanks for bis election as vice-president. The meeting terminated with the usual compliment to the chair.
