The Stock Market.

At the Hutt Show Grounds, the N.Z> L. and M.A. Company, Messrs Tame aud Co., and Mr G. H. Tanner— l Lincoln ram hogget, lOgs, Mr Threlkeld : 2 Lincoln ram hoggets, 9gs each, Mr Bugg. For Mr A. G. Laing - Border Leicester rams, 1 at 6gs, Mr Ellis ; 2at 6gs Mr Riddiford. For Mr H. Eglinton — Romney Marsh rams, 1 at 2gs, Mr Wood ; 2 at 2-Jgs, Mr Smith. For Mr F. E. Watson 1 Jersey bull lOgs, Mi Bell. For Mr K. B. Fergussota, 1 yearling Ayrshire ball, Herd Laddie, 20gs, Mr Scott ; 1 2-year old Ayrshire bull, Silverstream Bgs, Mr Curtiss; 1 yearling Ayrshire heifer, Lady Evelyn, 18gs, Mr Burridge. For Mr F. W. Smith 3 fat bullocks at £9 2s 6d each, Garrett and Co. ; 2 do. at £$ 7s 6d each. Mr Rigarlsford. Messrs A. G. Tame & Co. report the chief feature of tho sale was the interest taken in the bidding for the Ayrshires. They sold on account of Mr J. C. Cuff, of Oamaru, bull, Rantin' Robin, two years old, second prize-taker for 80gs; yearling bull, Pleasant Jack, 20gs ; yearling bull, Welcome Jack, passed at 19gs ; Ayrshiro cow, Lily Flag, 20gs ; cow, Spot, ll£gs ; cow, Bell, 12gs ; Maggie llgs ; Flora 22gs ; Nancy ll^as ; Minerva, 15gs; Miss Ratson, llgs; Fancy lOgs; and 2 year old heifers from lOgs to I'igs. Tbe champion bull Our Jack was passed in. On account of Mr R. Fletcher, Ayrshiro cows and heifers all in poor condition, sold at from sgs to 9gs. Mr G. H. Scales also sold foi Mr W. Nixon, Shorthorn bull, Lord Rosebery, 45gs, W. Rathbone, Hawke's Bay ; Shorthorn bull, Boan Prince 30gs, Donald Fraser, Rangitikoi.
