Sporting News.

It is stated that Chaos broke down after tbe N.Z. Cup. Acceptances for tbe Feilding Meeting are due on Tuesday next for tbe first day's races. There is every probability that Osculator will measure strides with Euroclydon in tbe Auckland Derby. This morning while Mr C. Leen's gelding Turf Boy was being exercised on the Feilding racecourse he met with an accident by which one of his hind legs were broken, and, consequently, he bad to be destroyed. It appears that Turf Boy was being galloped with Auroa and Sweet Sleep and a few sheep being on the track tbe boy who was riding the former pulled off with the result that his mount slipped and was injured as stated.
