Wool Charges.

The Secretary of the Wellington and Manawatu Railway Company, Mr W. M. Hannay, advertises reduced rates for wool. The new arrangement will come into force on Monday next. It will be seen, on reference to the notice, that the rates quoted include wharfage, loading being done by the senders. Consignors are reminded that wool sent by rail receives quick despatch, and that two trains run daily between Longburn and Wellington. This concession by the Company will be duly appreciated by flockowners. The rates are from Halcombe 6s 10s, Feilding 6s, Palmerston and Longbnrn ss, Ashurst 5s 9d, Woodville 6s Bs, Kakariki 7s Id.
