Population of the Colony.
The estimated population of the colony on September 30, exclusive of Maoris was: -Males 366,599; females 326,557 ; total 693,136, being an increase of 3310 over the total shown at the end of last quarter. The Maori population is fixed at 41,993, making a grand total for the colony of 735,129.
