(Per Press Association.) Paris, Oct. 6. Marquis Maykes, of Bourges, has been acquitted on a charge of murdering his stepson in 1885. The wife laid the charge and declared she had remained silent for nine years under the priest's influence. She tried to suborn witnesses, but expired in Court.
