The forces of Chinese, it is , said, are unable to contend against the Moslems owing to the lack of arms and stores, and tho Emperor, becoming alarmed at the success, has ordered the Rhasgar garrison to Kansu to assist in suppressing the rising. Li Hang Chang has been appointed, to direct the movement.
