Folding Cycling Club.
Members of the Feilding Cycling Club met in the Feilding Hotel last evening, there being only a small attendance. Mr £. A. Feck occupied the chair. Correspondence was received from the Manawatu and W. C. Athletic Protection Association, stating the next meeting wonld be held in Palmeraton North on Ihursday next, and from Mr Barker this club's delegate to the Cyclists' Union, stating amongst other matters, that enquiries} were being made as to whether there was a suitable track in Palmerston N., where a championship meeting coalcl be held. The Secretary announced that one guinea trophies were promised by Mrs Hastie, Mrs Kir* ton, Mr Light, and a two guinea trophy by Mr W. A. Sandilands in addition to a'guinea in cash. Votes of thanks were passed to those ladies and gentlemen who had given trophies. The programme for the race meeting on January 22nd next was passed as drawn op by the sub-committee, who were instructed to allot the trophies as they thought fit. Resolved, That the Secretary be instructed to write to the Athletic Club , asking for tb« use of their property for ;,the forthcoming meeting. Ifc was dedecided to postpone the traok race from Wednesday toe 13th inst to Wednesday the 20th and, also, that nominations close on the I.Bth.
