WRIT SERVED fob £1000 DAMAGES (Per Press Association.) Wellington, This Day. A writ for £1000 for libel was to-day served on the Evening Post at tbe instance of the Colonial Treasurer. The alleged libel is contained in a statement that Mr Ward had met Mr Murray on board the Hauroto, and that bis denial of it was untrue. !
