(Per Press Association.) Sydney, This Day. In the Legislative Assembly last night Mr O'Sullivan moved an adjournment to discuss the probability of a war outbreak. The Premier, replying, said the colony was never in a more efficient state of military defence, and a scheme of concerted movement of the whole of the colonies in case of danger had been prepared. He quite agreed the colonies could not be too well prepared, and the matter would have the full attention of Government. The Colonial Secretary said he had discussed tbe matter with Major-General Hntton, wbo bad complained of the want of qualification of certain high military officers, He also stated he had Jarge quantities of useless powder. He urged that if their defence was to be kept efficient that there must be a larger expenditure.
