Tragedy at Thursday Island.
. — p.. . ..„.— (Per Press Association.) Thursday Island, October 27. A Japanese diver named Yoski went to the house of a Japanese widow early this morning and shot her. He then proceeded to a Japanese boardinghouse and shot the proprietor who had helped to pay his debts. Jealousy is supposed to be the cause, and both victims are in a critical condition. Yoski committed suicide by blowing out his brains.
