Marcij : 893 and 1317 — total, 2210. April : 883 and 1234 -total, 3117. May : 875 and 1337 -total, 2212. ' June: 881 and 1559— total, 2440. July ; 80§' and 1686— total, 2492. August : 818 and 1766 total, 2584. Average monthly number : Public Works Department, 840 ; Lands Department, 1344— total, 2184.— Public Works Statement.
