A. J. Pettigrew, ls 6d per yard (accepted), W. Bacon, £60 ; S. McMillan ls lOd per yard ; E. G. McDermott, ls 7Ad ; Jos. Shapleski, Is lld. Only one tender, that of J. Wright at 37s 6d per chain, was received for formation on Awa road, but was not accepted.
