A Terrible Passage.
-o— — (Per Press Association.) Melbourne, Tbis Day. The ship Trndisfarne had a terrible experience on her last voyage Home. After striking a rock and patting back for repairsishe lost a seaman overboard three days out. In roundiDg the Cape, the carpenter went mad and died. The vessel then encountered a fearful burri- • oane, and was partially dismasted. The ohief officer had his spine fractured by a falling spar, and succumbed to his injuries. The second officer wa3 also severely injured, and confined to his bed. Several seamen were incapacitated by frostbite, and the crew being consequently short-handed, tbe greatest difficulty was experienced in working the vessel., „:
