Tragedy at Lawrence
(Pee Pbessj Association.) Dunbdjn, October 17. A sensation is reported from Lawrence. Loo Chay entered a bouse in the Chinese camp where his European wife was, shot her, and also Mrs Sing Lee and Miss Mo Cauley, also John Naylor who tried to disarm him, and turned the revolver on himself. His case is critical. It is believed the others will recover. Jealojusy • was the cause. . \ October 16. < None of the persons who were shot by \ the Chinaman are considered to be 1 dangerously wounded, but at latest ac- ] counts it was not thought ittiat the ] Cbinman himself was, likely ' to last i through the night.
