Interesting to Foresters.

o A London correspondent writes : — " At a meeting of the High Court of the Ancient Order of Foreatere, held recently at Brighton, Brother Oarrett brought forward some very Btrong complaints of certain alleged grievances experienced by the New Zealand Foresters. He declared that for 16 years New Zealand had been deprived of money paid on behalf of English Courts. These grievances related mainly to the Auckland district, and Brother Garrett proceeded to read a document of portentous voluminousoess, setting forth the grievances complained of, but its length was so alarming that the Court at last etopped him and surrendered almost unconditionally to his vigorous assauh. An: admission was made that irregularities had occurred in the past, and ap expression of deep regret (hat this should have happened, while a* promise was given that all the wrongs pomplained of should be redressed, and &ny recurrence prevented. So Mr Garreft and the Auckland Foreaters have scored a very distinct win. Surprise is eipressed that the New Zealand Fores, ters should have submitted so long to their admitted grievances without -compelling redress long ago. However, I suppose it is a case of "better late than never." *
