Preston has receded to 100 to 5, but lie has been well backed for the Melbourne Cup at 1000 to 6 and 7. Delaware and Hopscotch are equal favorites for the Melbourne Cup at 100 to 8. Wallace, Preston and Admiral 1 00 to 7 . Auraria an d Trenchant 1000 to 5. Four to one is now the best offer for Auraria for the Derby*. Aquarius has been scratched for the Melbourne Cup. Delaware aud Oxide left Sydney last night for Melbourne. The Trier executed a great gallop over one mile and three-quarters at Randwick yesterday, and is considered a certain starter for the Melbourne Cup.
