Grant ' asking for refund bf outlay in connection with teachers' classes ; granted. , ; Vrijieltin-Grove^F^om committee drawing attention to the crowded state of the school; resolved to reply that the work is already on the list. Mangahoe —From R. McGounell, applying for appointment to Mangahoe; -agreed to, subject to the usual conditions. . Tiritea— From committee re shelter shed' and fencing; resolved, That the Board will' supply the wire, staples, and - gates f or-the fencing. ,: 'Technical School— The Board went into Committee to consider matters in connection with the Technical School, • and held a lengthy consultation with Mr Blair, the art master. Drill Instruction— Mr DeMay d'Alke- '■■ made, supervisor of physical instruction tinder the Board, submitted a detailed • plan of the proposed course of instructions, showing the different centres suggested together with their various branches. Ruahine— From Mr J. Dohson and (others re establishment of a school at ~ Ruahine, and stating they would bear the cost of the building ; there were 22 children of school age; resolved to request the carpenter to prepare plans for a suitable building, an estimate to ; be submitted at next meeting. West Waitapu — From committee, notifying that the Board's offer of wire staples is not suitable, and asking fora money grant; resolved to grant ±10. Sanson — From Committee re stove ; referred to Mr Sanson. Oroua Bridge - Left to Mr Sauson to endeavor to arrange for securing Crown grant for the property left by a Maori chief. Makino Road —An extra sum of money was voted for a small additional expenditure. Pemberton— Messrs Fry, Baker, and Sanson, were appointed a committee to ; enquire into the buildiug requirements for the district. Rangiwahia— From Mr Thomas Moffatt, enclosing details of the boundaries bf tbe Kangiwabia district ; referred to Messrs Sanson^Fry, and Baker, to report on the respective boundaries of Beef i Creek, Rangiwahia, and Pemberton. j Physical Drill — It was decided that Hunterville and Birmingham be the physical drill centres for the adjoining schools. Other matters respecting Mr D'Alkemade were left with the Executive.' In consequence of Prince of Wales Birthday falling in the same week as the next Board meeting would fall on, the next meeting will be held on the 21st instead of the 14th November.
