Stock Markets.
Charles Carr reports :— I held sales at Birmingham and Feilding on the Bth and 11th instants. At Birmingham a considerable number of cattle came forward, but only a few sheep, which sold at recent values. At Feilding a large -number of both cattle and sheep came forward, and there was a decided drop in value of both classes I quote : Birmingham— 2-yr steers, £2 155 ; 18---month steers, £2 4s 6d ; weaners, 15s to 355; milch cows, £4 15s to £5 10s. Ewes and lambs, 10s lOd ; hoggets, 8s Bd. Feilding— Store cows, £2 195 ; 2 to 2_yr steers, £2 19s ; store bullocks, £4 ; weaners and yearlings, 26s to 84s ; milch cows, £4 to £5 7s 6d. Hoggets, 5s 3d to 8s lid; wethers in wool, good 12s 6d.
