Tramp, Esq.,") has lodged a protest against Mr Luekie, for a breach of the rules of racing. Mr Wickham has written to the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club, calling their attention to the fact that Mr Luckie persists in racing a horse in the name of Boomerang, after he had been informed that that name was given to his (Mr Wickham's) horse (by Musket out of Byronia), and whose performances are duly recorded. As it is Mr Wickham's intention to race Boomerang again, he asks that Mr Luckie's horse be given another name. — Napier Telegraph.
