Welcome Stakes, 75 soys ; 4 furlongs —Defiance 1, Manntuki 2, Antares 3. Six ran. Won by a length. Time, ssec. Dividend, £2 6s. Corinthian Handicap, 40 soys ; 1| miles— Lotion 1, Waingongoro 2, Zaccho 6. Ten started. Won easily. Time, 2min 21sec. Dividend, £6 17s. Flying Handicap, 100 soys ; 6 furlongs —Solitaire 1, Searchlight 2, Aphony 3. Six ran. Time, lmin 18 4-ssec. Dividend, £1 17s. TO-DAY'S RACES. Napier, This Day. There is fine weather and a good attendance at the Jockey Club's second i day's racing. Results : — Trial Handicap— Aphony 1, Rainbow 2, Flaneur 3. Lotion, Mystical, and Sequal were scratched.
