Rewi easily beat Te Whiti in a gallop over eleven furlongs, wound up in 2min 32sec. Hova, who has been largely supported to win the Caulfield Cup, came home like a lion at the termination of 1£ miles, traversed in 2min 47sec, which is regarded as a great performance. At Canlfield Mr Gollans horses— The Possible, Bonnie Scotland, and Sternchaser—put in a sterling 1£ miles. The triumvirate are in great buckle ; but the last-named, with Bessie McCarthy, are under orders for New Zealand, and will leave forthwith.
