The N.Z.L. & M.A. Company have received tbe following London market cable dated Ist October : Frozen meat — Canterbury mutton, 4d ; Wellington mutton 3sd ; lamb, prime New Zealand, 4tjd per lb. Tallow— Fine mutton £1 4s per cwt ; Good beef £1 2s 9d. Wheat New Zealand average, £1 5s 6d per 4961 b : New Zealand longberried £1 6s 6d per 4961 b.
