ANOTHER RICH FIND. (Peu Press Association). Perth, Oct. B. A sensational discovery is reported near Niagara. Two prospectors examining some ironstone stopes discovered specks of gold. This induced them to look into it further, and from an opening 20ft long, 3ft wide and only one foot deep they took 200 ouncec of gold. One piece weighed nine ounces. Tne formation is ironstone quartz and schistose. Experts express surprise at the richness of the specimens found lv this peculiar formation. The discoverers state there is any quantity of the same formation in the vicinity. Reefton, Oct. 3. The tributors in Al gold mine crushed 17 tons stone for 1560zs 16|dwts gold, the yield being 9ozs 4jdwts to tbe ton of the value of _36 9s. The Progress Company has declared a dividend of 9s per share, the total amount being i'9oo. The total dividends paid are equal 16s 9d per share on a called up capital of 3s 9d.
