The Golf Match.

The golf match between the Feilding and Manawatu Clubs was played on the links, on Mr Lethbridge's property, yesterday afternoon, and after a very pleasant game resulted in a win for the visitors by 11 holes to 4. Feilding was represented by Messrs C. H. Coote, W. T. Grant, H. Lance and W. Dickson, and Manawatu by C. J. Still, C. J. Munro, R. Abraham, and A. S. Baker. Mr Still beat Mr Coote by 3, Mr Munro beat Mr Grant by 4, Mr Lance beat Mr Abraham by 4, and Mr Baker beat Mr Dickson by 4. Afternoon tea was kindly provided by the ladies and much appreciated by the players.
